Madonna & Child Necklace

This necklace features an image from a painting entitled Madonna and Child with Bird. Dating to around 1765, the painting is attributed to Ignacio Chacón — an artist active from about 1745 to 1775 in Cuzco, Peru. In 2006, it was selected as the US Postal System’s Christmas stamp.

The necklace measures 1 inch by 1.5 inches. It is encased in glass with lead-free solder and includes an 18” ball chain.
